North America – The Journey
North America is a very large continent located on the southern tip of the hemisphere. It is considered to be the western sub continent of the Americas and the eastern sub continent of the Americas. It is bordered by the Canadian shield to the south east and the central American tropical belt to the north west. The eastern continental shelf is also known as the New World.
North America has a very unique landscape. It was formerly part of the eastern United States, before it became the southern states of United States. The dividing line of the continental shelves refers to the line between the 48 continental meridians. This divides the continent into two areas, which are the northern and the southern states of United States.
North America is made up of eight continental units. Four of them are located in the north. These are: The United States, Mexico, Central America, South America and The Caribbean. The remaining portion of this continent is found in the south east. The countries of these are: Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Suriname, Uruguay, Venezuela and Upper Canada.
North America consists of ten interior islands. These are: British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Quebec (Canada), New Orleans, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin. There are many small islands which are not inhabited yet. One of these is Saint Basil Island, which is located on the tip of Trinidad. The island was discovered by American businessman during his trip to British Columbia.
North America is an extremely large continent and it covers a great area. It has been divided into many areas because of its high melting rate. This process can be seen in the ice caps, which form in the winter. Most of this ice melts in the north central areas of the continent while some areas on the south side of the continent remain cold. This process takes place as there are many rivers which drain into these regions.
North America can be considered as one of the largest continents. This is because there are so many lands to be explored in this region. There are many ethnic groups in this continent. These include mestizo, whites, indio-persons, black, yellow, Alaskan and aboriginal people. These various groups have their own history, culture and language.
One of the most spoken languages in the world is Spanish. There are also several other languages including French, Chinese and English in the north east part of this continent. The countries that border it are Mexico, Peru, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Kentucky and North Dakota. The countries like Canada, United States, Argentina and Bolivia are on the south side of this continent. The countries like Mexico, Peru, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, Iowa, North Dakota and Canadian provinces are on the north side of it. These are the countries that are very important when it comes to ice caves.
Ice caves are formed due to the slow water flow due to the cold climate. This is why the animals living in this region need to hibernate. The animals will enter into a very deep sleep and emerge a few months later to hunt some food. It is quite amazing to see these beautiful animals in their natural state because they are covered with fur. These ice caves can be seen from the air or from the ground and you will be captivated by the beauty of these places.
